The Scary Scarf-Man was inspired by a story my friend told me about a rather uncomfortable
experience she recently had while shopping for a scarf. Obviously I've taken extensive liberties
in every respect while turning her experience into a drawing, but I couldn't help it.
The more I thought about the character, the more he seemed to be like a B-list Batman
villain from the 60's or something.
